I started my career in healthcare in 2007 as a nursing assistant at Berkshire Medical Center. From there I went on to become a registered nurse and eventually a nurse practitioner. I feel that the many years that I have been working in healthcare in a variety of positions and settings has helped to sculpt my practice. I truly enjoy helping patient's get back on track with their health and up to date with preventive screenings and testing as I believe prevention plays a big role in the overall health and wellness of patients.

I had lived in the Berkshires my entire life until 6 months ago when I relocated to Florida. The position for a telehealth nurse practitioner became available and I thought it was a perfect fit as I still feel so connected to the community.

In my spare time I enjoy being with my family which includes my husband, 2 children, 2 dogs and 2 cats. We enjoy traveling together, going to sporting events, going to the ocean, and finding new places to explore in our area.”,”_description”:”field_64a85ffd2e0c3″,”interest_label”:”Favorite Berkshire Spots”,”_interest_label”:”field_64a8600d2e0c4″,”interest_list_0_item”:”Pontoosuc and Chesire Lake Mount Greylock Zucchini’s Restaurant”,”_interest_list_0_item”:”field_64a860312e0c6″,”interest_list”:1,”_interest_list”:”field_64a860212e0c5″,”css_classes”:””,”_css_classes”:”field_64b0028a70cd8″,”section_id”:””,”_section_id”:”field_64b0028a70d27″,”block_title”:””,”_block_title”:”field_64b0028a70d70″,”custom_css”:””,”_custom_css”:”field_64da5a2ddd5ef”},”mode”:”preview”} /–>

Primary Care

Services

I provide remote telehealth services that include telephone and video visits for annual Medicare wellness visits, urgent/acute concerns, and follow-up for chronic conditions. The goal is to bridge the gap in care when patients are not able to see their own provider or are unable to come into the office for a variety of reasons.

Clinical Interest

Working in primary care I developed a passion for women’s health and I have always had knowledge and interest in addiction medicine as well. My capstone project focused on addiction treatment and integration back into the community setting. Although I do not provide any services unique to these areas, my education and experience helps me to better care for patients with these concerns.
