About Ron Sunog, MD

New Berkshire resident

In my practice of medicine, I try to always remember that in addition to using all the knowledge we can, it is also important to keep in mind that there’s a lot we don’t know and medical decisions involve more than just the science. In my free time, I like to travel with family, stay physically active, enjoy the great TV shows and movies, and read the news (too much).

Favorite Berkshire Spots
  • I like all the great hikes—Monument Mountain and Brace Mountain Loop come to mind—the Harlem Valley Rail Trail
  • Baba Louie’s pizza
  • and anywhere I can see wildlife and great sunsets.

Pediatrics

Services

All Primary Care Pediatric Services, including annual visits and care for all common pediatric problems.

Clinical Interest

In addition to enjoying taking care of kids in general, I’m interested in how medical decisions are made and improving health through healthy living and preventive care. These interests led me to write a book in 2019, “Eat the Eight, Preventing Food Allergy with Food and the Imperfect Art of Medicine.”
